October is European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM). 2020 will be the 8th annual campaign coordinated by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and the European Commission.
The campaign is dedicated to promoting cybersecurity for people and organisations and providing up-to-date online security information through awareness raising and sharing of good practices and operates under the slogan of ‘Cybersecurity is a Shared Responsibility’ to unite against cyber threats.
Think Before U Click
The motto of ECSM 2020 is ‘Think Before U Click’ with a focus on helping people to identify and be prepared for cyber threats.
The themes of ECSM 2020 are focused on ‘Digital Skills’ and ‘Cyber Scams’.
The Digital Skills theme will focus on data protection, cyber bullying and cyber stalking with the Cyber Scams theme focusing on phishing, business email compromise and online shopping fraud.
